Welcome to the parish church of Hayle: St Elwyn in the Anglican Diocese of Truro and county of Cornwall England. St Elwyn is one of the five churches which is encompassed within the Godrevy Team Ministry. Visit The Godrevy Team Ministry web site using the link in Pages and Links.

St Elwyn's is a Victorian church (Grade 2*) situated in the Foundry area of Hayle, close to the beach and harbour.  It was built in 1886 to a design by John Dando Sedding, who later designed Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Square, London.  A key feature of St Elwyn's Church is the magnificent 'Friendship Window', designed by Clayton & Bell in 1933, which covers most of the west wall.

On Sunday, at our 9:30am  Eucharist, we follow the Anglo-Catholic tradition; with liturgical ceremony and the offering of incense. We end with the Angelus and ringing of the Church Bell. On the first Sunday each month this is a sung service with a choir.  On the third Sunday, instead of the Eucharist, there is a service of Choral Evensong.

We endeavour to open the church for private prayer and this is currently on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays between approx 10:00am and 4:00pm.  Please come and enjoy our beautiful historic building, or for a time for quiet prayer.
